Prayer Requests A prayer request (for example) can be for a relative who is ill, for someone who has passed away, for a business venture, for safe travel, or simply for a friend's good health and long life.
Prayer requests are always welcome, and are customarily accompanied by an offering. Sponsoring offerings at a Buddhist monastery is a traditional means of accumulating merit, and purifying illness and obstacles. Prayer requests may also be made without an offering.
If you wish to sponsor traditional offerings and prayers (i.e.- Butterlamps and Fire Offerings for someone who has passed away or very ill), please go to the
KTC Monastery website. Otherwise, you may enter your prayer request below.
Your prayer request will be forwarded to Kagyu Thubten Choling Monastery and Kagyu Dzamling Kunchab Sangha. The Monastery reads and prays for your requests every day during morning prayers.
